St Mirren Football Club announced today that it is implementing a new operational leadership structure designed to support the club’s long-term development on and off the pitch. As part of this reorganisation, the Board of Directors has promoted Keith Lasley from his role as Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer.
Chairman John Needham said: “Since joining the club in 2022, Keith has made a significant contribution to the success we have enjoyed on and off the pitch. This promotion reflects the way his role has broadened in recent months and how the Board feels he has adapted to the change. I’m sure all fans will join me in congratulating Keith and wishing him continued success in his extended role.”
The new structure builds on the recently launched ‘Our Progression’ strategy and will steer the strategic direction of the club’s football and key operational departments. The aim is to fulfil the mission of becoming the best community-centred development club in Scotland.
The senior leadership group will now consist of Craig McLeish, Lynsey McLean, Allan McManus and Gavin Miller, alongside the newly appointed CEO Keith Lasley. The club remains ambitious about what it can achieve both on and off the pitch, and the new structure reflects its drive to continually improve and develop in order to remain competitive, sustainable and forward-thinking.
